Event Sponsors
Businesses, local organizations and individual sponsors are encouraged
to make a financial donation to Historic Soldiers Weekend. Historic Soldiers Weekend (HSW) relies on generous support and donations so we can hire the guest speakers, hire the event entertainment (like Abbott and Costello in 2007) and to feed the 200 to 350 re-enactor participants.
Donations of food, beverages, paper products and kitchen supplies are gratefully accepted, or monetary donations can be made directly to the Historic Society to purchase the supplies needed to feed the troops.
Donations are also needed to acquire guest speakers, and event entertainment. All donations should be made out to the event sponsor, "Old Fort Mifflin Historic Society”. See our Links page for more information on Old Fort Mifflin.
All donations are gratefully accepted but in appreciation for those donating larger amounts, we gladly offer the following:
Donations of $500 to 1000:
These sponsors are welcome to hang their all weather banners near the event entrance. Their business will be announced over the PA system during the event and your website/contact information will be added to the HSW website Sponsors Page for 2008. |
Donations of $2000 or more:
In addition to all of the above, your sponsorship information will be
included in our event schedule, which is handed out to the public at the
entrance. |
